A little over a month ago, I cancelled my AOL membership because of their

support for Focus on the Family. Before doing so, I used the fof area to

sign up for their free print version of their magazine. Since doing so,
it
appears that they or aol sold or gave my name to other christian orgs as
I
have recieved free trial offers from both _Christian History_ and
_Christianity Today_ mags, both of which are also on aol. Also aol has sent

me one of their free trial disks and TWO free trials for GNN, their
internet service. They even called me on the phone asking to reactivate
my
account and offering an additional 10 hour free. The phone sales person

must get paid for the number of resigns she gets cause she begged me to

take it and then just cancel again. I explained that I would NOT support
a
company that associated with fof.

Anyway the Jan issue of the fof magazine had an article on "Living with
a
Non-christian Spouse" and offers a complementary copy of the booklet
_Living with an Unsaved Spouse_ by calling 1-800-232-6459. If you call they

ask for your address and phone number and the station where you listen to

their radio program. I told them I don't listen but have read their aol

area. I should have this most usefull "resource" in about a week. Wonder

what new mailings I'll get then. (grin)
