Of course I do, and that's why it took so long. I never said, as Lynda
inferred, that that means everybody in Gaul had to sit tight for 40
years -- just that things took much longer in the days before
electronic storage and communication than it does now, so it's not
farfetched to think the census in Judea might have taken several years,
done one region or town at a time.
