Isn't that nice.  When logic fails, invoke yet another "miracle".
Too bad all of those astronomers had missed that "miracle", much
like the missing evidence of the Flood.

So, these wise magi, upon seeing the messiah, take that little
tidbit of information to the reigning king, allowing the king
to do his wrath on the innocents in Bethlehem.  Not very wise
of the magi.  You'd have at least thought that they would have
been warned that Herod was going to kill a bunch of kids to
preserve his power.  Then, as that was quite common in that
day an age, they, being wise men, would have known that.

... Dead Gods!  Onna Stick!  Get 'em while they're hot!
