Creative bookkeeping. Remember: a day started at sundown. So if
Jesus was crucified before sundown (and according to legend, he was,
as they had to have his body off the cross before the beginning of
Passover), then he lay in the grave part of Friday, which is one day.
Then, he lay in the grave all day Saturday, which is day-two. Then,
he wasn't resurrected until after sundown on Saturday (Sunday a.m.),
which makes the third day.

I know. That isn't how I reckon time, either, but I didn't write
the legend, so don't blame me. <grin>

... Adding manpower to a late software project only makes it later.
