I saw your response and frankly, it looks as if you are trying to troll
Cindy for what she has said to you lately (and you are doing it badly and
without style, may I add).
One cannot be a devout atheist. As Cindy has said, there is a difference
between devout and militant. I have met militant atheists in my day, and
some of them have the same tactics and close-mindedness fundy Christians
do. However, they are not devout

(cough, cough) state this is _the_ "philosophy (or philosphies) of atheism"?
A philosophy requires follower(s) to ascribe to it. There is no such philosophy
that all atheists ascribe to, though there is a definition of atheist (which
some will actually argue with).

that you are in the right on this, though. It also does not mean that your
debate "style" with her will do diddly shit for you except for giving you
a hard-on. For us, it just cements our opinion of you.

When he challenged your supportive assumption of my saying I am not a
devout atheist because:
1. Because *I* said so
2. Because there is no such thing as a devout atheist he made a broad brushing remark which implied the first statement was
conclusive to the second. He may have honestly mis-read it. Maybe not.

Also it could be argued that it is ontopic here due to Bush's claim to be

claiming (or as suspected -trolled): atheists can't do good works because
according to that theist 'good works means spreading the word of god' IOW Only theists can do good and you know how xtians like to claim
